A national level middle distance runner she tried her first Tri in 2006 and has not looked back.
Her first season of triathlon she won the elite female series award of the Victorian Gatorade Triathlon Series and the following year gained selection in the Australian Age-Group Triathlon Team for the ITU World Olympic Distance Championships, taking 3rd place.
2010 has been her most successful season so far, achieving 1st place Elite Female at the Victorian Olympic Distance Championships and 1st place Elite Female for the Victorian Gatorade Triathlon Series.
Since gaining her professional triathlon licence in January 2010 she has spent the Australian winter training in Boulder, Colorado. While there she competed across North America and Canada gaining various top 10 finishes in her rookie season as a professional triathlete.
The 2010/11 Australian domestic season was off to a great start with 5th place Elite Female at Shepparton in my debut Half Ironman and 1st place in the opening two rounds of the 2010/11 Gatorade Triathlon Series.
